It’s not hard to remember January 20, 2025 when the governor declared a state of emergency due to the cold. That’s why we’ve launched CareBlankets.org, a community-driven initiative designed to bring warmth to those in need through the power of generosity and creativity.
Over the next seven months, talented volunteers across Florida will be crafting beautiful, handmade blankets—quilts, afghans, and more—all in preparation for the chillier days of November through February. It’s more than just a project; it’s a shared mission to spread warmth, love, and hope throughout the communities we serve.
